Dieses Wochenende war ich auf einer Familienfeier im schweizerischen Montreux! Ich habe mich direkt in diese schöne Stadt, die so malersich am Genfer See liegt, verliebt.
Eine Häuserfassade inspirierte mich, ein neues Muster zu dekonstruieren. Es war eine lange Zugfahrt zurück nach Köln. Letztendlich 11 Stunden von Tür zu Tür - mit Zugausfall und allem drum und dran. Ich hatte viel Zeit zum Tanglen ;-)!
Das Fragmentmuster habe ich nach den beiden Jubilaren Armin und Irina genannt, die dieses wunderbare Fest veranstaltet haben.
This weekend I was at a family party in Montreux, Switzerland! I immediately fell in love with this beautiful city, which is so picturesquely located on Lake Geneva. A pattern on a house facade inspired me to deconstruct a new pattern. It was a long train ride back to Cologne. Ultimately 11 hours from door to door - with train cancellations and all that. I had a lot of time to tangle. I named the fragment pattern after the two anniversaries, Armin and Irina, who organized this wonderful celebration.
Die Zugfahrt nach Montreux war so schön, deshalb teile ich gerne meine Eindrücke. Ich konnte mich nicht satt sehen an den Bergen und der herrlichen Landschaft.
The train ride to Montreux was so beautiful i love to share with you. I couldn't get enough of the mountains and the beautiful landscape.
Ich war davor noch nie in Montreux - es ist auf alle Fälle eine Reise wert und schön bei Tag und Nacht.
I've never been to Montreux before - it's definitely worth a trip and lovely day and night.
